Description:  The candidate is a newly appointed sergeant whose role is to both supervise and mentor your patrol officers.  Several patrol officers are complaining about one officer who vocalizes extreme right views and has developed a pervasive “we” versus “them” attitude.  He is especially vocal about “Black Lives Matters” and immigration issues.  The officers bringing the concern are afraid he will “go off” in a situation that will cause harm to him, a citizen or the department.  The candidate needs to counsel the officer to determine the reason for his issues and what can be done to correct his behaviors.
