“911 Homicide: Is the Killer the Caller”
This two day class covers the basic and advanced courses of critical analysis of 911 calls made by individuals reporting a homicide. The instructor, Deputy Chief Tracy Harpster from Moraine Police Division, is a member of the Vidocq Society, has presented at numerous national and international conferences, the FBI Academy, authored books on this topic, and used his research to investigate over 1000 homicides. Case studies are presented to identify and learn the key indicators of guilt/innocence.
- This course qualifies for up to 14 Continuing Education Credits for Prosecutors through the Ohio Supreme Court.
- This training is applicable to call takers, dispatchers, patrol officers, supervisors, detectives, prosecutors and coroner investigators.
- This training is only being held once in Ohio in 2017
